IFS signs MRO provider Alitalia Maintenance Systems S.p.A.

Alitalia Maintenance Systems S.p.A. (AMS), a leading maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company, has purchased IFS Applications to optimize its MRO processes and shorten turnaround times. The agreement, which includes IFS Applications licenses, maintenance and services, is valued at more than € 1 million.

AMS delivers maintenance and repair services on commercial jet engines in its facility in Rome. IFS Applications will enable AMS to meet the increasing challenges of its industry by ensuring consistent, reliable documentation of processes and work. “IFS Applications is a powerful, effective product that offered the best engine overhaul solution. With its agile implementation methodology, IFS can provide rapid implementation to satisfy the growth strategy of AMS in the future. We were also impressed by the industry experience of IFS and the high levels of competence displayed by IFS consultants in aerospace and defense, and especially in the engine overhaul processes,” Giancarlo Rago, Purchasing and IT Director at AMS, said.
